Maimunah bint al-Harith was one of the noble wives of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). Before marring the Prophet she was called Barra, but after they got married, he called her Maimunah, which means, “Blessed”. She lived with the Prophet for only three years. She was known for her great generosity and her love and devotion to Allah.

Safiyah Bint Huyeiy Ibn Akhtab was one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She was the daughter of Huyeiy Ibn Akhtab, the chief of the Banu Nadir tribe, who were all expelled from Madinah in 4 AH after plotting to kill the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). She was intelligent, learned and gentle. In fact, gentleness and patience were her dominant qualities. She had many good moral qualities.

Abdullah ibn Hudhafah was one of the glorious companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was known for his strong faith in God and His messenger. He was also among those who were willing to sacrifice their whole lives for the light of Islam to spread. Abdullah ibn Hudhafah was given the chance to meet two world potentates of his time, Khusraw Parvez, the King of Persia and Heraclius, the Byzantin emperor.

The man who made first public pronouncement declaring Islam and challenging the arrogance of the Quraish, which reached their ears.

He was the ideal hero whose motto was “Actions speak louder than words.”

The seeker after truth, Salmaan (RA) was the originator of the project to dig the trench (Khandak), and he was associated with the rock out of which poured some secrets of the unseen and of destiny.

Perhaps there was no boy in Makkah who was pampered by his parents like Mus’ab Ibn Umair. This mirthful youth, caressed and pampered, the talk of the ladies of Makkah, the jewel of its clubs and assemblies: is it possible for him to be one of the legends of faith?
